Ticket Gem is an independent ticket agency not associated with Ticketmaster, any box office, team, or venue. We've been in business since 1968 and specialize in premium seating and tickets to sold-out events.

Our tickets are obtained on the secondary market, and our prices include all costs of acquisition and marketing. Therefore, our ticket prices will normally be higher than face value, sometimes significantly. Nevertheless, our substantial volume allows us to offer you tickets at a total cost to you below that of other reputable independent ticket resellers. No Hidden Credit Card Surcharges

Many other internet-based ticket agencies now add a credit card surcharge of up to 5%, with a $10 minimum. At Ticket Gem there are no credit card surcharges. The price you see each ticket listed for is the price you pay.

No Hidden Checkout Fees

Most internet-based ticket agencies are now tacking-on a final service charge of 10% during the final checkout stage. What's amazing is that you don't even see this charge until you get your credit card bill. At Ticket Gem there is absolutely no checkout fee!

No Sales Tax

We're based in New Hampshire, which has no state sales tax. Therefore, you'll never have to pay sales tax on tickets purchased through our site.

A final comment on face value

The face value of a ticket is moot if it's not available from primary sources such as Ticketmaster or the box office, as in the case of a sold-out event. Even if an event's not a complete sell-out, the best seats are rarely available at the box office. Therefore, for most people the best option is to purchase tickets on the secondary market.
